Unable to Change Internet Explorer Settings

SYMPTOMS

When you click OK to accept configuration changes you made to Internet Explorer, the screen may turn black and the computer may stop responding (hang).

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if Internet Explorer is installed on a Sun Microsystems SPARCstation 5 computer with the Sun Solaris 2.5.1 operating system installed.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Sun Microsystems to inquire about the availability of an update to address this issue.
