Unable to Adjust Temporary Internet Files Storage Size

SYMPTOMS

When you try to adjust the amount of disk space to use for storing temporary Internet files, you may be unable to do so. If you move the slider that adjusts this setting, the slider reverts to its original position of 1 percent.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Explorer for UNIX on Sun Solaris. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
