Customizing All Local FoldersTo customize all your local folders at the same time, open the Windows\Web or Winnt\Web folder and follow the steps in the appropriate section earlier in this article.
Customizing Special FoldersThe Customize This Folder wizard and Web View are not available for special folders (for example, Fonts, History, Downloaded Program Files, or Subscriptions folders). Note: For the Temporary Internet Files folder, the Customize This Folder command is on the View menu and appears to work properly. However, your folder customizations are not displayed after you run the Customize This Folder wizard. Windows 98 provides a default Web View template for Temporary Internet Files that explains what the folder is used for and how to clear its contents or adjust the settings. This default Web View template cannot be changed via the Customize this folder wizard.
