SYMPTOMS

Some Adobe Acrobat .pdf files will fail to display when you use Internet Information Server 2.0.

CAUSE

Internet Information Server 2.0 does not correctly serve multiple byte ranges.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem with Microsoft Internet Information Server version 2.0. This problem was corrected in Service Pack 2 for Microsoft Windows NT Server 4.0. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
