SUMMARY

When the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) is enabled and you return data across an SSL channel from an ISAPI filter, you are limited to fewer than 32K of information.

When using SSL and an ISAPI filter to dynamically return HTML pages larger than 32K in size, information will be dropped or lost in the transfer.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Internet Information Server version 1.0. This problem was corrected in the latest Windows NT 3.51 U.S. Service Pack. For information on obtaining the Service Pack, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
