PRB: Can't Cancel Multi-Select Stored Procedure Run & RenameLast reviewed: December 11, 1997Article ID: Q166895 |
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen multi-selecting database Stored Procedures and choosing Run or Rename from the Shortcut menu (right-click menu), Visual InterDev prompts for arguments once for each Stored Procedure selected, not allowing a user to cancel the overall action.
CAUSEThis happens because Visual InterDev batches up the Run and Rename commands individually and carries out each command as a single step that does not affect the execution of other commands.
RESOLUTIONThe only resolution for this is to continue or cancel execution of each command (Run or Rename) individually.
STATUSThis behavior is by design.
