The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSA General Protection Fault occurs when you expand links on a link off of a page name that contains Double Byte Character Set characters. This error occurs in the Japanese version of Visual InterDev 1.0
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a bug in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. This bug has been corrected in Visual Studio 97, Service Pack 1. and choose the Japanese equivalent of "View Links" from the context menu.3. Right-click one of the links in the "View Links" window and choose the Japanese equivalent of "Expand Links".Result: GPF in MSDEV.EXE
