PRB: Exiting Internet Explorer when Debugging Applet

SYMPTOMS

When you are debugging an applet and trying to terminate the applet by exiting Internet Explorer, Visual J++ may report an unhandled exception in your applet.

RESOLUTION

To terminate the applet and debugging session, you should use the Stop Debugging command in Visual J++. Select the command from the Debug menu, or toolbar, or press ALT+F5.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
