PRB: Getting Out Of Memory Error with COMCallingJavaLast reviewed: January 29, 1998Article ID: Q163720 |
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSAttempting to drive the COMCallingJava sample through VBDriver.exe or a C++ client sometimes generates an E_OUTOFMEMORY message.
CAUSEThe E_OUTOFMEMORY error is generated if the .class file, CEuclid.class, for the class is not in one of the directories in the CLASSPATH.
RESOLUTIONTo fix the problem, copy CEuclid.class to one of the directories specified in the CLASSPATH. The %windir%\java\classes directory is one of the directories that is normally specified in the CLASSPATH. Copy CEuclid.class to this directory. NOTE: There are two CEuclid.class files generated. One in the project directory and the other in the %windir%\java\TrustLib\euclid directory generated by Javatlb. Copy the file from the project directory.
STATUSThis behavior is by design.
