Application Focus Changes Tiling Arrangement in Task Manager

SUMMARY

When you use the Horizontal Tile or the Vertical Tile feature of the Microsoft Natural Keyboard Task Manager, you may notice changes in the size or the order of the arrangement of applications being tiled.

MORE INFORMATION

The application with the current focus is positioned toward the top-left corner of the tiling selection. If you switch to another application and then choose either Horizontal Tile or Vertical Tile, the newly focused application is repositioned toward the top-left corner of the screen and force the remaining applications to be tiled and sized differently. This behavior is by design. No options are available for arrangement or sizing of individual applications in Task Manager.
