Scrolling Setting Does Not Affect Internet Explorer 3.01

SYMPTOMS

When you use the Mouse tool in Control Panel to change the Scrolling setting for the IntelliMouse wheel, scrolling is not affected in Internet Explorer. When you roll the IntelliMouse wheel in Internet Explorer, the page movement remains the same regardless of how you configure the Scrolling setting.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Internet Explorer versions 3.0 and 3.01 for Windows 95. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
