SYMPTOMS

When you click a docked window in Microsoft Visual Basic 5.0 with the ClickSaver feature enabled in the Mouse tool in Control Panel, the window may not undock.

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, double-click the docked window.

If this does not undock the window, turn off the ClickSaver feature by following these steps:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Mouse.

  3. On the StepSavers tab, click the ClickSaver check box to clear it.

  4. Click OK.

STATUS

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.

MORE INFORMATION

You can use the ClickSaver feature to click once where you normally double- click.

When you click an undocked window once in Visual Basic 5.0 with the ClickSaver feature enabled, the window docks correctly.
