SYMPTOMSWhen you type in Microsoft Excel 97 for Windows, the mouse pointer may not disappear even though the Vanish feature is enabled in the Mouse tool in Control Panel.
CAUSEMicrosoft Excel 97 does not support the Vanish feature.
MORE INFORMATIONWhen you enable the Vanish feature, the mouse pointer disappears when you begin typing and reappears when you move your pointing device.
