NEC Multispeed Laptop Continues to Access Drive

SYMPTOMS

When you use the NEC Multispeed laptop with the mouse driver installed, the disk light stays on as if the disk is being accessed.

RESOLUTION

NEC produces both a patch INIT059.COM or ROM upgrade that resolve the problem. Please contact NEC technical support to obtain the patch or upgrade.
