SUMMARY

If you load a program when using a serial PS/2 mouse on the PS/2 mouse port, it will take longer to load than a serial or bus connect because the mouse initialization is performed through the PS/2 BIOS.

This information applies to the Microsoft Serial-PS/2 Mouse for MS-DOS systems.
