SYMPTOMS

If your mouse is connected to the mouse port of a Hewlett-Packard (HP) Vectra 486 PC, and you lock the keyboard, move the mouse, then unlock the keyboard, the mouse cursor moves erratically.

RESOLUTION

Hewlett-Packard has confirmed this problem. Contact Hewlett-Packard for more information

MORE INFORMATION

This problem may occur on either the HP Vectra 486 25 MHz or 33 MHz machine. The problem does not occur if the mouse is not moved while the keyboard is locked or if the mouse is connected to the serial port.
