Moving Cursor with the Mouse Leaves Lines on the Screen

  • Microsoft IntelliPoint software version 1.0

If you use the mouse in certain applications (for example, MS-DOS Editor, MS-DOS Shell, or Norton Utilities), you may notice problems with the screen redraw functions. These problems are most obvious when you use a large- or medium-sized cursor.

Symptoms include lines remaining on the screen when you drag the cursor.

Microsoft is researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
