SUMMARYPage 2 of the Office Professional 4.3 for Windows "Getting Started" manual states that Microsoft Office requires 4 megabytes (MB) of RAM. This information is incorrect. Microsoft Office Professional requires at least 6 MB of RAM (at least 8 MB is recommended). Note that the box that Microsoft Office Professional 4.3 for Windows, correctly states that Microsoft Office requires 6 MB of RAM to operate.
MORE INFORMATIONAll of the programs in the Microsoft Office Standard versions will run with 4 MB of RAM. The getting started manual that ships with Microsoft Office Professional version 4.3 is the same manual that ships with Microsoft Office Standard version 4.2. With the exception of Microsoft Access, which requires 6 MB of RAM, all other components of Microsoft Office Professional run with 4 MB of RAM.
