The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYWhen you insert the Microsoft Office compact disc into your CD-ROM drive, a Microsoft Office For Windows 95 window automatically appears on your screen. This behavior occurs because of the Autorun.exe file located in the Autorun folder on the Microsoft Office CD. This file runs automatically when you insert the Office CD in your CD-ROM drive. Note that the Autorun feature will only work if the Auto Insert Notification setting is selected for your CD-ROM drive. By default, this setting is selected. To select this setting, do the following:

Install Microsoft Office Getting Results Browse CD ContentsWhen you move the mouse pointer over one of these buttons, a sound is played on your computer, and a description of the button appears on the screen. The following is the text that appears when you move the mouse pointer over each of these buttons: Install Microsoft Office: Install Microsoft Office for Windows 95 on your computer.
