SYMPTOMSThe following error message appears if you try to delete the My Documents folder in Windows 95:
My Documents is a Windows system folder and is required for Windows to run properly. It cannot be deleted.If you try to delete the Recycled folder you will receive a similar error message.
WORKAROUNDRather than delete the My Documents folder, change the path that your program uses for saving files. To change the default folder, use the following steps:
Microsoft Word
1. On the Tools menu, click Options. 2. Select the File Locations tab. 3. Select Documents, and click the Modify button. 4. Type the path that you want the application to use for opening and saving files. 5.
