OFF95: "What's New" Screens Are Missing in Office 7.0a

SYMPTOMS

When you start the Office Shortcut Bar or any Office 7.0a program for the first time on a computer that is running Windows NT 3.51, the "What's New In..." screens fail to appear.

This problem does not occur if you are using Windows 95.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
