The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you save a Microsoft Excel section of a Binder as a separate file, and then click Open on the File menu, the file you saved may not appear in the Open dialog box in Microsoft Excel.
CAUSEThe Microsoft Excel file may not appear in the Open dialog box in Microsoft Excel when all of the following conditions are true:
RESOLUTIONTo prevent the Microsoft Excel worksheet section from being saved with the .obd extension, do the following:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
