The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn the Microsoft Office 97 programs listed above, when you choose a different Office Assistant, the Office Assistant may be unchanged and you do not receive a warning or error message.
CAUSEThis will occur if your hard disk has less than 2 MB of free disk space available when you try to choose a different Office Assistant.
RESOLUTIONTo prevent this problem from occurring, you should keep at least 10 MB of free disk space on your hard disk, if possible. Note: When you run Microsoft Office 97 programs with less than 10 MB of free disk space, you may encounter other types of problems, in addition to this one.
STATUSThis behavior is by design of the programs included with Microsoft Office 97.
