OFF97: Mouse Pointer Changes Shape During Camcorder PlaybackLast reviewed: August 13, 1997Article ID: Q160939 |
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you record an audio-video interleaved (.avi) file in Microsoft Camcorder 97, you can use any special pointer format, such as an animated cursor; however, when you play back the movie, Microsoft Camcorder replaces the pointer with the Microsoft Windows default arrow pointer.
CAUSEThe Camcorder uses a "software cursor" which reduces the size of the playback file, and records the movie more accurately. The mouse pointer location is recorded instead of the pixel position of the mouse pointer. When you play back the movie, Microsoft Camcorder displays the Microsoft Windows default software cursor in the recorded location.
