WordArt: Border Thickness Does Not Affect ShadowLast reviewed: September 9, 1996Article ID: Q102110 |
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you add a border to WordArt text in WordArt, the border is added around the letters themselves. This causes the letters to become thicker and more bold. If the text is shadowed, however, the addition of a border does not cause the shadow to become correspondingly more bold. In other words, the WordArt text itself becomes bolder when you add a border, but its shadow does not. This problem occurs with all the styles of shadow.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in WordArt version 2.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
