The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSA 32-bit OLE Automation server that implements dual or vtable binding interfaces finds that loading the type library or a typeinfo from the type library fails under Win32s version 1.20 with this error:
TYPE_E_CANTLOADLIBRARY CAUSEA problem in OpenFile in Win32s version 1.20 causes the search for STDOLE32.TLB to be done incorrectly.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a bug in Win32s version 1.20. This bug was corrected in Win32s version 1.30c, which can be obtained from the Microsoft Software Library by searching for PW1118.EXE.

Click Knowledge Base, and select the product
Enter kbfile PW1118.EXE (size: 2530739 bytes)
, and click GO!
Open the article, and click the button to download the file

Change to the Softlib/Mslfiles folder
Get PW1118.EXE (size: 2530739 bytes)
On the Edit menu, click Go To, and then click Other Location
Type "mssupport" (without the quotation marks)
Double-click the MS Software Library icon
Find the appropriate product area
Locate and Download PW1118.EXE
Dial (206) 936-6735 to connect to MSDL
Download PW1118.EXE (size: 2530739 bytes)
