  • Microsoft Outlook 97

SYMPTOMS

In Microsoft Outlook 97, multiple appointment items inserted as attachments within an e-mail message cannot be dragged as a group onto the Calendar on the Outlook Bar successfully. Outlook will present an Untitled Appointment for the first appointment time only. In addition, this new Untitled Appointment will not contain the text, subject, or location.

WORKAROUND

Drag each appointment individually onto the Calendar. Then, each appointment will automatically be inserted correctly with all pertinent information intact.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the products listed at the beginning of this article. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
