The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSUnlike Microsoft Exchange client, the Standard toolbar in Microsoft Outlook has no button to force delivery of new mail. Furthermore, you cannot customize the Microsoft Outlook 97 Standard toolbar.
WORKAROUNDUse one of the following methods to force immediate delivery of new mail messages to your active Inbox: - On the Tools menu, click "Check for New Mail." - Press the F5 key, to check for new mail.
MORE INFORMATIONIf you have more than one information service within the current profile, you can choose the delivery service. To choose the delivery service, follow these steps:
