The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSIn Outlook 97 when you create a "New Contact from Same Company" from a contact that contains a fax number, your Outlook Address Book may not include the new contact fax information.
WORKAROUNDTo correct this problem, open the new contact, re-enter the fax number, save and close the new contact.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Outlook 97. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
