OL97: Can't Click to Display Next Off-Screen Appointment

Last reviewed: January 19, 1998

  • Microsoft Outlook 97

SYMPTOMS

In Outlook 97 Calendar view, clicking the additional appointment symbol does not move you to the next off-screen appointment.

When you display a Calendar view which has more appointments than fit on the screen, Outlook displays an additional appointment symbol. This symbol resembles a triangle that points in the direction of the off-screen appointment.

In Schedule +, clicking on the triangular symbol moves your view to the next off-screen appointment. In Outlook 97 this does not happen.

CAUSE

This behavior is by design.

RESOLUTION

To display an offscreen appointment in Outlook 97 use the vertical scroll bar on the right side of the appointment window to scroll to the appointment.
