OL97: Buttons Missing From Outlook ToolbarsLast reviewed: January 19, 1998Article ID: Q166935 |
The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you start Microsoft Outlook 97, or open a message or form, some toolbar buttons may appear to be missing.
CAUSEOutlook toolbars dynamically adjust to the window width and drop off the least used buttons.
RESOLUTIONDrag the window's border to increase the window width and the missing buttons will reappear.
MORE INFORMATIONThis issue is most obvious at lower screen resolutions and when using Microsoft Word 97 as your e-mail editor. This is because there are more buttons on Word's "Outlook Read Mail" and "Outlook Send Mail" toolbars. Open Outlook and drag the window's border to make the view narrower. Notice that buttons begin to disappear from the toolbar. Drag the window's border to make the view wider and the buttons reappear.
