OL97: No Setup Options for Paper Size or Proofing Dictionary

SYMPTOMS

When installing standalone Microsoft Outlook 97, with Regional Settings of English (British) or English (Australian), you do not get an option to choose paper format or proofing dictionary.

RESOLUTION

Install Outlook, version 8.01, available with Microsoft Exchange, version 5.0.

STATUS

This problem is corrected in Outlook version 8.01.

MORE INFORMATION

When running Setup on other Microsoft Office 97 applications with Regional Settings of English (British) or English (Australian), you are prompted for a choice of paper sizes (Letter or A4) and proofing dictionaries.

When running standalone Outlook Setup, the paper size defaults to Letter and the proofing dictionary to English (United States).
