SUMMARY

Military time uses a format based on 24 hours rather than 12. Time ocurring after 12:59 P.M. does not restart at 1:00, but continues through 23:59. For example, 1:00 P.M. is displayed as 13:00 in this format.

To set the Calendar in Outlook to military time do the following:

  1. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.

  2. Double-click Regional settings.

  3. Click the Time tab.

  4. In the Time style list, click the format HH:mm:ss, then click OK.

  5. Close the Control Panel.

The times in the Calendar will now display using the 24-hour format.
