SYMPTOMSWhen you use the Internet Mail Enhancement Patch for Microsoft Outlook 97 (IMEP), have reply ticking turned on, and you reply to an e-mail message sent to you using Microsoft Exchange rich text format, the original message text in your reply does not wrap. A single reply tick appears at the beginning of the line of text.
RESOLUTIONTo make the text wrap when using reply ticking:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Internet Mail Enhancement Patch for Microsoft Outlook 97 (IMEP). We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
MORE INFORMATIONWhen you reply to a message, the IMEP offers the ability to indent the original text and mark it with a special character such as an angle bracket (>). This is also known as a reply tick, or reply ticking. To turn on this option and select a special character, follow these steps:
