The information in this article applies to:

  • Microsoft Mail Gateway to SMTP, version 3.0

SUMMARY

The Microsoft Mail Gateway to SMTP computer requires TCP/IP to be loaded (refer to page 2 of the "Administrator's Guide"). However, it is not required to load any other protocols on the dedicated workstation. Below are the configuration files for a properly configured Microsoft LAN Manager MS-DOS client using only TCP/IP.
