The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSWhen you use Winsock Proxy clients using the IPX protocol, the client will fail when you try to access an URL with Microsoft Internet Explorer (IE), and you will get the following error message:
Not found. The requested object does not exist on this server. The link you followed is either outdated, inaccurate, or the server has been instructed not to let you have it. Please inform the site administrator of the referring page." CAUSEThis error is due to incompatible server information made available to the Winsock Proxy client in the Mspclnt.ini file. If the client tries to use the [Server IP Addresses] name information instead of the [Server IPX Addresses] information, the client may not be able to locate the Winsock Proxy server. RESOLUTION
