SYMPTOMS

During the installation of an program that uses MAPI, such as Microsoft Exchange Server Client, Schedule+ 7.0, or Outlook, you may receive the following error message:

   MSPST32.DLL in use by another application

CAUSE

This error message may occur when a MAPI-aware program is using Mspst32.dll.

RESOLUTION

You can resolve this error message by closing any programs that may be MAPI-aware, such as Outlook, Windows Messaging, or Microsoft Exchange clients.
