The information in this article applies to:
SUMMARYMicrosoft Internet News service will not start if a virtual root is not defined, has been corrupted, or if a Universal Naming Convention (UNC) path defined in the virtual root is unavailable on the network.
RESOLUTIONRemove and reinstall the Internet News Server (INS).
