IMS: Mail Directories Fill Up with No Warning

SYMPTOMS

When the Queue/Mailbox/Badmail directory begins to fill up, .lrt files end up with incomplete messages. For example:

CAUSE

There is not enough space on the disk.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
