SYMPTOMSIf you attempt to open the Internet Service Manager LDAP Service Properties Page after removing and then reinstalling the Address Book Server (ABS), you may receive the following error message:
Invalid access to memory location. CAUSEThis is a problem with the Internet Information Server (IIS) service.
WORKAROUNDTo work around this problem, do the following:
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Commercial Internet System (MCIS) ABS version 1.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
