Windows 95 Explorer GP Faults during Remote Control

SYMPTOMS

Repeated attempts to Remote Control a Windows 95 client may cause the Windows 95 Explorer to cause a General Protection (GP) fault. The same problem may also occur with the Internet Explorer. The following error may also appear:

   Application Error: WUSER2 caused a general protection fault in module
   IDIS_LM.DLL at xxxx:xxxx

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.1. This problem was corrected in the latest US Service Pack for Systems Management Server. For information on obtaining this update, query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without the spaces):
