Invdos.exe Doesn't Detect NEC 3x CD-ROM on MS-DOS Computer

SYMPTOMS

Invdos.exe does not detect an NEC 3x CD-ROM drive installed on a workstation running MS-DOS or Windows. However, Microsoft Diagnostics (Msd.exe) does detect the drive and the version of Mscdex.exe that is installed.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem Systems Management Server versions 1.0 and 1.1. This problem has been corrected in Systems Management Server version 1.2.
