SMS Client DEINSTAL.BAT Fails on Windows 95 w/out Full Shutdown

SYMPTOMS

When you run DEINSTAL.BAT from the Systems Management Server version 1.1 client on Windows 95 and then log off and back on to the client, it fails to deinstall. Client deinstall completes successfully if you shutdown and restart your Windows 95 computer instead.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.1. This problem has been corrected in Systems Management Server version 1.2.
