PGC Allows a User to Log On to a Different Domain

SYMPTOMS

Program Group Control (PGC) displays no errors when a user logs on to a domain where SMS and shared program groups exist and are being distributed and then logs on to a different domain where SMS does not exist.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server versions 1.0, 1.1 and 1.2. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
