INVDOS Fatal Error on Win95 Without TCP/IP Installed

SYMPTOMS

When running inventory on a Windows 95 client without TCP/IP installed, INVDOS gives the following error:

   Fatal Error. Unable to get IPConfig.

This message stops the logon script.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server versions 1.0 and 1.1. This problem has been corrected in Systems Management Server version 1.2.
