SMS: Problem w/System Key Pass Through of the Flying Windows Key

SYMPTOMS

When taking control of a Windows 95 or Windows NT 4.0 client, the client's keyboard may stick with the Flying Windows key enabled. This problem occurs if both of the following conditions are true:

  • System Key Pass Through is enabled in Quick Windows Viewer.

    -and-

  • The Flying Windows key is pressed on the server.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server version 1.2. This problem was corrected in the latest Microsoft Systems Management Server 1.2 U.S. Service Pack.
