Couldn't Save the Query Result Format

Microsoft Systems Management Server versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2

SYMPTOMS

When you try to create a Define Query Results Format and you use attributes that contain apostrophes, you receive the following error message:

   Couldn't Save the Query Result Format

RESOLUTION

To resolve the problem, you can obtain the following fix or wait for Systems Management Server Service Pack 4.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Systems Management Server versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2. A supported fix is now available for version 1.2 only, but it has not been fully regression-tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem. Unless you are severely impacted by this specific problem, Microsoft recommends that you wait for the next Service Pack that contains this fix.
