SYMPTOMSAn attempt to upgrade a remote OS/2 SQL Server using Setup versions prior to version 4.2a results in the error:
Unable to start SQL Server.Attempting to perform a remote upgrade from version 4.2a or later Setup version results in the error:
Setup does not support remote upgrade. CAUSERemote upgrade is unsupported.
WORKAROUNDA local upgrade can be done instead. Alternatively, the databases can be dumped, a remote install from scratch can be done, and the data can be re- loaded from backup.
