SUMMARY

The Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0 documentation set, both printed and Books Online, incorrectly states the syntax for the following option for the Transact-SQL SET statement.

The documentation reads:

   SET DEADLOCKPRIORITY { LOW | NORMAL}

The correct syntax is:

   SET DEADLOCK_PRIORITY { LOW | NORMAL}

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the documentation for Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
