FIX: Correlated Subquery on Datetime Col May Cause Client AV

SYMPTOMS

The client thread may access violate if it has the datetime column in correlation, and multiple conditions in the WHERE clause of the correlated subquery and the main outer query.

WORKAROUND

Split the query into multiple queries by using intermediate temporary tables.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0. This problem has been corrected in U.S. Service Pack 3 for Microsoft SQL Server version 6.0. For more information, contact your primary support provider.
